OKRA FRY| BENDAKAYA FRY
Okra fry is a simple and easy recipe to make, serve it with Pappu Charu or Tomato Charu.
Also don’t forget to check the nutritional values at the end of the recipe
COOKING TIME: 25-30 MINUTES
SERVINGS: 3 to 4 serves
INGREDIENTS:
1. Oil: 3 table spoon
2. Okra: ½ kg (bendakaya/ ladies finger)
3. Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon (haldi)
4. Coriander powder: 1/2 teaspoon (dhania)
5. Chilly powder: 1 teaspoon
6. Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
OPTIONAL:
Cumin seeds (zeera): 1/2teaspoon
Coriander leaves: 1/4th cup
PROCEDURE:
1. Chop the okra into small pieces.
2. Take your frying pan, place it on the stove and ON the stove
3. Add oil into pan and also you can add zeera
4. Then add the tindora slices and add salt and fry them for 15-20minutes
5. Stir it frequently otherwise the tindora present at the pan end will be burnt.
6. Then add coriander powder, turmeric powder and chilly powder.
7. Mix them properly and off the stove
8. Add coriander leaves at the end ( if you have them at the moment)
9. Your Okra fry is ready
