WATERMELON JUICE | WATERMELON ICE POPS
It's summer time and it's the best reason to have an ice cream or ice pops (not that we need any reason to have ice cream😅). Here is how we make ice pops or juice from watermelon. It tastes good both ways. Try this at your home. And also, you can make this sugar free because watermelons are sweet most of time. So, it's healthy and also satisfies our cravings.😉
PREPARATION TIME: 5 MINUTES
SERVINGS: 3 GLASSES OF JUICE/ 10-12 ICE POPS
INGREDIENTS:
1. Watermelon: 1/2 medium sized watermelon
2. Salt: 1/4th teaspoon
3. Sugar: 1 tablespoon(optional)
PROCEDURE:
1. 1st take you half cut watermelon and remove the peel.
2. Cut the watermelon into pieces and then add into a grinder jar.
4. Grind it for about minute and add the salt. If you want the juice to be more sweet, you can add the sugar and grind it for 30 seconds- 1 minute. (we didn't add the sugar as the watermelon was already pretty sweet).
5. After the grinding is done, remove the pulp by using a STRAINER
6. That's it, your watermelon juice is ready, If want to enjoy it as just as juice keep it in freeze for about 30minutes so that it will be chilled while serving. (or you can keep it in fridge and serve whenever you want).
8. For ice pops, pour the above juice into the a small glass or popsicle mould. We had this mould so we added into it. (if you don't have any mould just pour the juice in a small glass and don't forget a popstick or any spoon).
